Mary van Geyn

Mary_van_GeynCertified Reflexologist

REFLEXOLOGY is a method of stimulating the REFLEX POINTS in the feet that correspond with each of the body’s organs and functions. It is a perfect fit with massage therapy, chiropractic, and all other healing modalities. By rebalancing and deeply relaxing the body's system, the effectiveness of other treatments are vastly improved. WHOLISTIC, NON-INVASIVE and GENTLE, it is a beneficial for all ages – infant to seniors!

Following a detailed mapping of the body, gentle pressure is applied with the fingers and thumb of the practitioner on the plantar, dorsal, lateral and medial sides of each foot. Correct stimulation of these reflex points causes a release of trapped stress and tension, bringing about a deep state of relaxation. Toxins are also released, and ones’ natural energies flow freely, assisting to normalize the entire system. The body is REVITALIZED and SUPPORTED in its own healing process.

Mary van Geyn has been offering Reflexology for 7 years with her fellow practitioners at Advanced Healing Arts. She obtained her certification from the Pacific Institute of Reflexology, completing both Basic and Advanced Clinical courses. She is currently a Board Member with the Reflexology Association of BC, acting as their Membership Director. She attended both UBC and SFU, and holds a B.A. in Communications – Interpersonal Relations.

Teana Wong

TeanaCertified Colon Hydrotherapist

Teana Wong is a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist trained at Prime Vitality – School of Colon Hydrotherapy.

Her personal health journey and experiences with conventional medical doctors had left her realizing that the root causes of her chronic illness was not being dealt with. During this time, she was introduced to colon hydrotherapy and have found the treatments reduced her inflammation and gave her a better feeling of wellness. This sparked her interest and decided to learn more about this profession and become certified so that she can better understand digestive issues and colon detoxing.

Research and facts are linking poor nutrition and poor digestion to chronic diseases. Colon hydrotherapy should become a lifestyle to keep our colon clean. She highly recommends a series of 6 colon hydrotherapy sessions twice a year (Spring and Fall cleaning) to maintain a healthy colon to eliminate toxicity built up in the body.

Clients with chronic illnesses can also respond better to their treatments when adding colon hydrotherapy as part of their treatment plan.

“If I had known more about digestive health as I do today, I would have been more pro-active in using colon hydrotherapy to eliminate toxins built up within me. We truly live in a wonderful era, where we are fortunate enough to be able to choose from a wide array of alternative health care professionals to help us on our road to wellness. Ideally, we should use these services for general maintenance and disease prevention.”
